despite hesitation...

I made one. I made another blog for my experience abroad. I'm probably the worst person to keep up with blogs but I'm doing this anyways, just so I can share my experience with you :)

Anyhoo, my first week here was CRAZY. I was exhausted, beat, and TIRED. My body was dead by the time of my 2 hour layover in Paris. It was only the layover too...-.- My mind was soo stressed out from the plane ride and the chaos that came with it. SOOOOO...by the time I got to Florence, everything was just....eh. But, after a day of rest....I love it here. Yeah, I miss Los Angeles and all the bomb Mexican food and Korean food, but the culture here is so wonderfully different. People just sit in piazzas (plazas where people can just chill) and just literally sit there. I tried it, while listening to street music, and it's like the best feeling in the world. I just end up zoning out and watch people pass by. It really allows me to soak up every moment of Italy.

The food....is so horribly good. Why horribly??? CAUSE OF ALL THE DANG CARBS. and the gelato of course. I never liked gelato back at home, I'm more of a Froyo fan...but the gelato here is so addicting. I keep eating endless amounts of it...TOO GOOD TO PASS UP. My favorite flavors so far are champelmo (pink grapefruit with champagne), passionfruit, mascaporne with fig, 75% dark chocolate, yogurt, and fruit flavors <3 Now about the carbs, pizza and pasta and everything else in between... the tomatos are so much sweeter here so the pasta sauce itself tastes different, but it's good....and authentic. I have yet to try real tomato spaghetti at a restaurant (I've only tasted my own, which would not be the same), but that's my goal in Italy for now.

Since I started this blog so late, it's so hard to update every single moment I had, so I'm just going to link a video of a few moments here and there :) Enjoy!

CLICK ON ME! :)

WARNING: i made this video in like 10 minutes so editing is super bad, and choppy. and the camera is always shaking...but watch it anyways to get a sneak peek into my life in italia! :)
